Heading up to Williams Lake area on our annual muley hunt end of next week. Wondering how the grouse populations are doing up there this year? There are lots on the island this year.

The south cariboo always had a lot of birds... even more so this year from what I hear.

Can't speak for Williams lake directly, but at my brothers cabin just north off 100 mile, and relatives ranch near PG, I cannot honestly remember a year I have seen more grouse. They literally have grouse on the lawn at the cabin, I wasn't allowed to shoot those, made me walk 10 mins on and old trail! I can't imagine that there would be a huge drop off along the way.

Not well after I came back, was out behind horsefly tons of the little buggers. Found some sharptail wow a grouse with a brain. Flighty they are
