Mule Deer bag limits for buck and antlerless for 2-16 Texada Island

I'm having some difficulty being sure I know my bag limits regarding Texada Island Region 2-16. http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/wildlife/hunting/regulations/1416/docs/region_2.pdf . My understanding is I can keep 2 Deer on Texada Island 2 bucks between Sept 10-Dec 15th or 1 buck between Sept10-Dec15th and 1 Anterless between Nov 5th-Nov 20th. My main confusion came when someone told me you can keep 3 deer on Texada Island. In the lower legend it says Texada Islands bag limit for deer is 3(2). My understanding of this is Provincial limit is 3 deer and regional bag limit is 2 ie: Texada? Thanks for the help.

It means the bag limit is 3, 2 of which can be antlerless.

Awesome Thanks Tom! So does that mean if I happen to get REALLY lucky I can technically get 3 deer in 1 day on Texada Island while anterless season is open?

Yes, but bear in mind that 1 has to be with antler.

also don't forget that you will need a separate tag for each deer as well
