Young Lady's First Duck Hunt

Last Saturday I took a young couple out for an afternoon field hunt. This was Becca's first duck hunt. We set up the dekes, a hayhouse blind for my wife and I and two layout blinds for the kids. The ducks started coming in at 5:35 and the action was hot and heavy until about 7:00pm. Becca took 4 mallards on her first time out and I think she is hooked. We shot 21 birds in all, 20 mallards and 1 pintail. Looking forward to next weekend.
