A bit of road kill

I haven't found a 4 pt mulie and the closest I came was in Iron Glove's back yard.
A 2 point mulie right on the road.
Actually Iron Glove's back yard looked most promising. Found some nice bear scat that was blue so I might just have to come back.

There were some guys blasting every once in a while and I figured there won't be anything around probably.
And in the end I picked up some road kill with the .410

I arrived on this mountain in the middle of the night and met a nice young couple from the island who were kind enough to let me join them around their camp fire.
They were after the area's elk. We shared some corn, beer and a few tales.

You beggar, you shot my Grand Daughter's bunnies.
I just pulled up for a couple of days to prep the Dacha for the Final Inspection ( I hope it's the Final ) , didn't see a thing the whole trip.
Neighbour was up for the weekend quadding and saw lots of moose, bear and grouse but the only deer seen were in town.

I probably saw the same 2 point along with a spike in front of the community hall last weekend, only bucks I saw all weekend.

Just came back from a dusk walk thru' town.
9 does of various size and one bunny that Adria must've missed.
Was hoping to come across a cougar ( 2 legged variety ) for the night but no luck.
Oh well, a book to read in a hot bat then share the bed with the dogs. :)

You can get dinner when you take your dogs for a walk along the river. I saw some ducks on the lake as well.
