archery opener 2014

good old bow , 25 yard shot , east koots reg 4 .
Seen lotsa elk but no good chances for me again this year .
I did manage to bugle in a fellow ive known from coquitlam for many years , niether of us expected each other .....small world
Hot weather , constantly moving elk and no noise from them make it difficult ...., soon it will happen

Was snowing when that rain storm went through , 18 hours of hard rain and snow at 1800 meters , atleast the rain got things moving.
Relised after missing 2 white tails at close range I need glasses as most of us old guys do .....1 $ later I could see my peep sight again .

Most of the deer and elk we seen were at lower elevation. Did manage to split up acow and calf but a logging truck ruined that play ......good sized calf too
