Waterfowling and Asking for Permission

Hey guys,

I was planning to go and ask some farmers before the season begins for permission to hunt on their land. I wanted to see which areas are usually pretty hunter friendly to ask in the Lower Mainland. I remember hearing that certain clubs in the area have rights for their members to hunt exclusively on certain farmland. Does anybody know which areas these are?

Also, what are your guys experience with farmers. Are they usually pretty open to hunters? Is there a form/agreement most guys use to outline the use of the land? I pick up my shells and respect the land.
