A few years ago I would have said, oh great, another dog post where they're so proud of their family member dog.

Now that I have a dog, I can understand the excitement.

Yup....aint that the truth.......dog owners are just as bad as parents posting pics of their kids and their animals

Congrats Ebony! (and Steven) on your first grouse. Great picture. I'll bet you were about a happy as I was when Tuk got his first last year. Just got in from 5 days west of you. We were looking for spots for Tuk to 'get his feet wet' on retrieving some ducks and geese. Drove by the crowded Valentine Lake on the 7th....that your ford and trailer in there?

No, we actually checked around but everyone was out fishing. We were in a bit of a hurry to get back to our camp north of Big Bar Lake...we had taken a few wrong roads which led us a lot further away than we had anticipated. We expected the Gustafsen rd to take us back, but that is another story. Apparently we need better map reading glasses...good thing we have a good 4x4 and take a lot of gear just in case.
