region 2 opening day

Had my first deer hunt yesterday after oh so many scouting months. I went with my good pal pinhead. We decided to check a new area for a couple hours which proved pointless so we swung in to a spot we had been watching since last winter and I managed to get myself a spike-two minutes and 80 yards later he also blasts one.

Awesome!

Congrats guys...those deer will be tasty! Lol, that other page wouldn't be Facebook, would it? I had a couple of tree shagging west end boys criticizing my son for his two bucks on there...they had a dozen people tell them off! :-)

Thanks for all the kind words folks. It sure felt good to put a couple down on opening day. They may not be the biggest, but they've been hard earned. As I'm sure most of you know, lower mainland bucks aren't the easiest thing to come by.

Now ow we can focus on the other hill where the big boys live!
