I'm sure many of you have been reading about the allocations involving sheep this year.......how many of you are trying for a stone this year, and where do you plan to hunt. ( without giving up your honey holes8) )8) .

My wife is going to go on her first sheep hunt this fall, Even if we don't harvest, she's in for a treat as she has never been to the upper alpine before.

I want to go after a stone this year. I have a couple places in mind, but the Firgitigin river drainage is the most likely destination.

Good luck to all who go out and may all your sheep be shot in prime guiding areas.

I plan to hunt stones this year...

After missing a nice Cali because I was too damn stupid to think about the angle of he shot 2yrs ago, and my inability to be 100% sure on a stone ram last fall (held fire) I hope that I will be able to at least get close enough to take pics on a ram this year.

No firm plans yet.8-)

My god man. Hang up your rifles. You missed 40 sheep last season. You need more range time:lol:

I'll be out after my first Stone this season. Hunting close to the Yukon/BC boarder.

Hopefully this year is my year. Passed on some rams during my last few hunts that were around 34-35'', just legal. I'll hold out for a bigger one.

RO I can think of 4 outfitters that could use the competition guess? ( one in toad river, 2 up the ketchika, and one up the prophet muskwa) .

I'll be flying in for Stone's July 31-Aug 12...and then home again to reintroduce myself to the family before flying out Sept 15 for a 14 day Caribou/Goat hunt with the possibility of sheep should I still have a tag.

.
Not covered by a G/O territory ? or not actively hunted ? I thought everything up there was covered.
