I had the pleasure yesterday of watching my brother shoot his first archery deer. It's a beauty! Check the thickness at the base, and the height of the G2s.

that is awesome...I would really love to do a spot and stalk hunt like that in the tall wheat or any other grassland...seems like so much fun.

Looks like a lot of fun for sure , unfortunately it will all come to an end in the next few years. They only allow so much of the population to be harvest per year and by bow. When the bow harvest is above the allowable it goes to leh like the rest of alberta has. Many bow hunters have jumped over to those last general mulie bow zones and that's about all it takes to tip the scale.
