Is there value in the Outdoor Passport?

Can anyone out there who has it comment if they find it a worthwhile thing to have? Does it really facilitate hunting on certain private land?

Its good in theory. But the landowner can still refuse you, even with the Passport. Anyone can fake their way through the test, people do it all the time with the CORE and PAL tests. Taking the test isn't any indication of a person being responsible.

Some landowners may swear by it, I've never liked it. Better to show me you are trustworthy than letting a piece of paper do the talking.

I see the Passport as a fundraising tool for a good cause. I didn't get it this year but maybe I'll buy a t-shirt instead..
