Advice for atlin Area Moose.

I have just recently relocated to Whitehorse and since I can only hunt if a resident takes me (Still a Bc resident) I figured I would try my luck in Atlin area. Do I need a boat or Canoe to access good moose country or can I drive in and do some hiking of my own with friends? Just wanted to see if its worth it to make the three hour trip with some friends to do some exploring?

I've only been there once, but south east of town, an hour or so on a decent road is Wilson Lake. Ton of sign, took me 12 hours to fill my tag

Be aware of the roads with rut closures along them , pg 65 . Great area to explore.
