Not much of a story, My buddy and I packed into the alpine , shot a young buck and packed out. I dont want to say how far the shot was but the rifle is my 111lr hunter 338 lapua. I only use this gun for certain areas.

Great buck Dino! Just curious how heavy of a pack did you pack in and how heavy of a pack out was it with your buck? Do you debone the whole animal? And did you go camp over night? Just wondering cause me and a buddy just packed into an area for the first morning and shot a good buck and packed it out with all out gear between the two of us. It was a heavy pack and not easy, just wanted to compare cause I plan on hiking back in to try to get a buck for myself and I wanted to cut back on weight on the way in.
