Northern bc any bugles yet

Was wondering if anyone have heard any elk yet , goin to head out see what I hear tommorow

Just got back from 7-42 and 7-49 (will post a trip report shortly) and it is warm, warm, warm.

Nothing was moving. I think it is going to take some colder weather to initiate any mating tendencies.

Yup. A buddy says they are warming up in Pink Mountain area

Had a bull screaming on cam Aug 22, he called twice and was hard horned.

We do need some colder, wetter weather to move in. This dry weather is getting a little long.

Will be out this weekend and especially on Monday. Have lots of picts of bulls and cows in the last couple weeks.

They're bugling up north, same goes for down here in R8.

8x7 bugled in yesterday in PG. Came in screaming. Best elk video I've ever seen. Now they have to do it again on monday!!!

Took a quick drive into new spot tracks every where , as tracks look bull has some cows already or he's chasin.

Going to stay quite and hear what is going on.....lots of time to hunt elk.

Called one in he came in silent ,my kid had a shot threw some trees but held off tried to move a bit busted us nice 6 pointer , elk were bugling at night but nothing during day. We will go back in a week

Had one sneak in and another give me a scream across the valley, but the wind as a mess yesterday, so sat in a view spot and enjoyed the sunshine.

Try again tomorrow.

Long way from home for me, but this Sun and Monday is calling for rain and temps of +3 to +6 here in John, which should be snow in the hills. We need it, no rain since May.

Nothing yet. Had a nice 5pointer on the show up on the camera at 230 in the afternoon on sept. 1. Will find out this weekend if there is anything bugling yet.
