my grandpa use to go moose hunting there back in 1980s and said that it has died down there with all the outfitters now....is this true or my grandpa has bin on the whiskey a bit?

Jennings Lake is a great area for moose, sheep, caribou ... always has been. Always will be!

Don't worry about the guides ... you just need to hunt hard.

Outfitter has a cabin on Jennings lake but it's a good area. Nome is in a different territory and no guide hunting it for a couple years. For moose check out klinkit.

I flew over that area a couple years ago and seen both moose and caribou. Some areas had well used sheep trails but I did not see any rams. (they were probably bedded in the rocks)

Tough sheep hunting. Better places for that. Bring a boat for everything else

Hmm flew in there numerous times..dont post publically on specialized locations..both lakes are good..but each for different reasons..agree with Butcher.for sheep..there are better areas..for caribou there are better areas just for caribou..is jennings and nome great hunting locations..yes..the guide does have acabin on jennings but never had a conflict. .
Send a pm with ph number..if I can help..of course I will..
Cheers
