HSM Ammunition?

So many mixed reviews on this ammo. What are your thoughts? Taking my 270 for elk...think I might be sticking with nosler partition.

I'd avoid Berger bullets for general hunting situations. They're better suited for long range/low speed impacts where they have a chance to penetrate the vitals instead of making a dinner plate sized crater. The Nosler Partition would be a much better choice for elk in a 270.
