Valemount Locals, Road info?

Can any of the Valemount locals tell me if the road on the west side of the lake is open to the Foster Arm Protected Area? There is a boat launch there I'm keen to use, hoping the road is open. Supposed to get up there to scout it out but fire season has keep me stuck at work all summer.

I have not heard that it's closed, so I assume it is open.

Was down the west side a few weeks ago to about 40k, there was a spot that an avalanche had come across the road, but it was driveable with a pickup. You could drag a trailer if you had to I guess. Other than that the road is quite bumpy. We turned around where a guy could launch a boat if he had to, but it would be tight with a trailer.

Just talked to MOF in PG. West canoe FSR is closed at 10km due to a large slide. No info on clearing date.
