Great fishing right now out front of Van airport, Sandheads, Iona, T-10 North Arm

The Fish are plentiful and a bullets ! Orange, Red, Pink the theme for the flashers, mini hootchies and dummy flashers. Several multiple rod hook ups including a quad, was so good to many triples and doubles to count. 40 to 70 feet.

Iv'e got the 17" Alum boat, dual manual riggers, and rods. What I don't have is the knowledge to get myself out in that area from the river. I understand McDonald ? launch is best although I could run from the planetarium launch. I figured I would look for a boat dropping all the dummy flashers and gear and troll my single flasher setups close to them :-D. What did you say the name of your boat was .
I understand the mouth can be a bear during certain tides and wind conditions.

Things are still well and good off the south and north arms of the fraser with great catches ...... Of Sox if you find the schools. Mind you the weekends bring out the jack ass in people who have no clue how to operate a power boat in a pack of boats ..... Ethics go out the back door for many . So I move from the pack, find a school and vavoom. If u want any help on how to fish these terrific esters on the salt chuck pm me and I will try to help you out . Lots of attractors is key, I stick with red, pink, orange and silver and have done very well out there off T10. Sa heads, Iona, north arm. 50 to 80 feet seems to be my lucky depth this year ........ Ya never know too some big springs are in the mix that create quite a nice surprise when hooked . Good luck out there

Fished Norht Arm to Iona for the early am hours with my better half and 2 daughters till they started getting a bit sea sick. Was another great day to be out, the laughs and smiles are my medicine haha, Some fish lost a few double headers , down rigger repairs, was a privilege again to fish this run. Headed home for the pool and some shade, red pink orange and silver still my theme for attractors and flasher/Hootchie set ups. All fish between 40 and 85, some so thick under you the sounder reads them as bottom. GET OUT THERE EVERY ONE !

Had an awesome morning out with Sasquatch. Lots of fish being caught. A great way to spend a day close to home.

Still nailing them in the Salt chuck boys and girls. Fraser mouth remains on fire, SouthArm is your best bet as more fish appear to be staging there then last weeks North Arm slaughter. Again use of dummies send placing gear close together is a great helper to your better success and full limits.
Good luck out there ....... Check the forecast, it was mighty nasty out there this afternoon.

Lots of Limits quickly off the south arm today, best early bite, north arm also reported good early this day, but even Van Harbor is lighting up, I even know of some taken off the Fingers and Entrance, near Naniamo The Fraser SOX are every where !

Go get your treats well ya still can. No Salmon eats like a Sockye.

Still TONS of fish out there. I have been out a lot and have not seen jumpers as far as you can see like we did last night. Marking tons of schools.

Sandheads and fish everywhere right out into the super deep water.

Saw a BIG sea lion too enjoying the bounty....not a real common sight in our local waters

Yeah, we had a sock jump about 20 feet from our boat and ten seconds later, a seal popped up with the sock in its grasp and chewing on its head. Common to see seals of course, but neat to see one catching and eating a fish so close to our boat.

Definitely slowed down compared to last few weeks, there are still fish there for those working for them, better yet there are some dandy springs out there with a 38 being hauled in ...... It's been a great year to box, freeze , smoke, can and just enjoy the best of all salmon the SOX. looking forward to 2018 already
