Looking for a bit of info on Lodestone Lake. I never have been there before and am wondering how the access is for a full size dodge. I assume that the usual flies will work this time of year. Any other info you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks

With the addition of the new road between Britton Creek and Coalmont the access is very easy. The last few KM to the actual lake are small and overgrown. We hunted that area in the spring and never did find the lake. But then again we were hunting not fishing. If you take the Britton Crk turn off from the Coq there's a well posted spur road at 45 min in. After that you'll need a GPS or a good map.

Or go through Princeton to Coalmont and up the hill.
You shouldn't have any problems, Son-In-Law used to head up their in a Ford Escape.
Lots of fish and even more bugs.
At times you have to run from your vehicle to your boat to avoid being carried off by hordes of mosquitoes and flies.
But, pretty good fishing.

Thanks so much for the info. If I catch the lake lunker, I post some photos.
