Mackenzie area

Im planing a hunt/visit some family in mackenzie in oct. Was thinking about floating the parsnip for a couple days, and wondering how the clearwater creek area is, i heard there has been some work in there. Anybody in the area feel like sharing some insight? Im all ears, or in this case eyes.
