ELK and the Arrow lakes

Not looking for a honey hole or anything like it, but recently drove through lumby to nelson, kept looking for elk crossing signs so I would know where to go lol, but didn't see any. Are there elk around Fauquier at all, or are they mostly north closer to revelstoke when talking about the arrow lakes? PM's are great, all info is much appreciated and most likely will never even be used...just something to dream about

Decent elk populations past the kettle river fsr (towards faquier) . check out the fields near edgewood after hunting season opens ... Sometimes I think they have a calendar LOL . LOts of hunters and I think you have to be able to call one in as they are pretty spooky after a few shots get fired early in the hunting season . I know a lot of that area quite well and haven't seen too many elk but lots of sign .
