Was up at the lake for 5 days, it was pretty smoky for the first couple and then cleared up for us, but was it ever hot. We loaded our camping gear in the boat and ended up staying on a beach in front of "the four cabins", what a great spot. Fishing was ok, we had our best luck on black and silver apexs, 6 inch. The biggest fish was taken on ford fender and worm. I would definately go back. We hiked into some clearcuts above lake and saw several deer. We also had a small bear rummage through our camp while we were out fishing, went for the can bag and the tote with the sweets, he didnt get in.
On some advice, we trolled fairly fast and every fish swallowed the hook. I've got a couple good pics on my phone I could text if anyone is interested. I dont know how to post.
