Sunday Sunday Sunday for me! Going to be the first year I use the 22. How was the average size of the rabbits?

We had 2 hugerabbits and 2 baby bunnies haha, wiill post a photo it's pretty funny

Went out tonight, and ... Well...
I guess I should have re-zeroed my .22 for the new ammo. Shooting a little high. First shot may have pierced an ear. Bunny went all over the place, and even ran within 10' of me! So, that one and his two buddies disappeared.
Up the road always, had another try. That one ducked right as I was pulling the trigger. Snap! Then disappeared promptly. I might get another try tomorrow.

When I was scouting last month I saw dozens of rabbits and three eagles in the same place. Today I went back to the spot with my 22 and saw just one rabbit and no eagles. I'm thinking the eagles might have had a few good dinners recently..... Now I need a new rabbit hunting place :(

We got 2 right after legal light on rroads and 2 pushing the bush slowly

We are seeing tonnnes of rabbits, have shot 7 between my brother and I so far, but the other day we found a spot where tomorrow night we hope to limit out, saw 26 in a 300 yards stretch in 15 min

Gonna try and do some scouting with the dog up in 3-12 next weekend for my moose. I'll bring the. 22 and 410 'just in case'

You guys that are missing the little buggers by a hair...maybe try the shotgun with light loads of #6 and modified choke next time?
I was going to do a chili-stew in the slow cooker but I'm going to consider that German dish...yummy! :-)
