I remember when I worked in Alberta in the mid 90's when the gun registration became mandatory and there became a group called LUFA. All of my friends were hunters and signed up as they would not give up or register their firearms. The conversations were fierce and very passionate to be polite. I cannot imagine the money and effort it would take to "round up" all of the firearms in Canada. I believe before this would happen people would "stash" some or all of their firearms and ammo (leave a token rifle for them to take) if something so drastic were to happen. That is an unnerving story to say the least and it really makes you think about the extreme views that I guess could be possible yet unlikely but you never know. Were would I stash my firearms? Great link 4 point.

I don't think so, we have lots of "privileges" in Canada but few actual "rights"

Just for clarity, I just re read the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms, as it has been a long time since I last went through it. What a pile of shit! There are a few clear and concise sections followed a bunch of language related B.S. and the rest is a bunch of vague open ended crap that could be argued easily in many directions.
As I said above, VERY few rights.
