What is the longest drive you have done in one day to check your trail cams?
I just got back from 7.5 hours :-?

My time is to precious to waste that much time driving just to check a trail cam.

That's about right for me, 1 hr pave, 1 hr gravel, 1.5 hr hike.
= sweet trail cam spot!
However I used to hike the same spot to scout before trail cams....

Just came back from 4.5 hours, but only an hours of that was driving, the rest was checking cams and scouting......

Why would you have a cam almost 4 hours away???

Cheers

I drop trail cams all over the place while on the road for a family trip or a spring bear hunt or other reason then I go back to those places to check the card come hunting season when I get there I check the card and see if its worth hunting

15 mins pavement 45 mins gravel road and 10 min walk in prime real estate with no problems of anyone ever even knowing my cameras are there finally got some region 8-23 elk on the cam last week 4 cows 2 calves !!!! It would be awful nice to take one locally and save the trip up north.

It all depends on where you live.I can set trail cams in my backyard and get nice pics of deer -moose and black bears.I'm thinking that would be tougher living in the LML?

Someone gave me a trail cam last Christmas. I've played with it a few times. I'll throw it up if I am going by one of my hunting places on my way out camping and then collect it a few days later on my way back. Never put out salt or feed... just screwing around doing more harm than good. Never had anything on the cam. In 10 days I'll be sticking it up in a new place that I'm curious about and I'll collect it just before or just after opening day. This time I'll probably get some salt and feed out.
