It's been somewhat slow. Coward's Corner produces the odd spring. The Castle as of last week was terrible, but should have picked up by now. If you have the boat for it you can run up past Hope Island and around toward Cape Scott. Follow the guide boats but be careful. If the weather is good that area should produce springs as well as coho as you're in an area that allows retention. You can pick up a chicken or two trolling off the bottom. Barely 100' deep. Watch the guide boats around tide change. Some will swing East to the top of Hope Island to jig or troll for salmon. You can check the Codfather Charter site for a report or try the Quarterdeck Marina. They are good people and generally don't fib Good luck.

Great fishing coho wise a little farther north in Rivers Inlet. Cut plugs up on the surface as always!

Got back from Hardy yesterday. We fished from july 19-26. Springs were kinda slow, we picked up 3 at Duval. Coho were really good at Castle with some being caught up to 11lbs. We got our limit of them around 8lbs average, but you had to fish a little farther out than you would normally for springs, quite a few pinks there too. They seemed to get a little smaller towards the end of the trip. Springs were slow at Castle, we got one and saw 3 caught in 3 days of fishing there. Fish were being caught up in the Sutil area, but we only have a 19ft and wont run up there even though we probably could on a good day. We got three chickens at the airport, and a HUGE skate that was over 100lbs. Pinks by the millions in Hardy bay and around Daphne, unfishable for anything other than pinks. Literally millions of them.

good luck.
