fishing around jade city

Is anyone spent any time fishinjg in around Jade City?

The dease river has lots of grayling, bulltrout, pike.

I once fished some lakes around jade city - any comments on those.

Lakes are slim pickings around there. The dease proper is better. If you have time to head up, wheeler lk is best for pike.

I lived up there before Jade City was a gleam in some developers eye. As you come up from Dease a short distance before Jade City you will see Vines Lake on the right it USED to be good for lake trout. next up is Chain Lakes it used to be not bad as well about 1/2 way between Good Hope and the Yukon Border on your left (headed to the Alaska Hwy) you will see a marshy little lake sorry don't remember the name, it used to be good for pike. Use your map book, there are a number of good fishing lakes around the area, or was. Sorry this info is old but then so am I lol.
