ducks and geese 3-12???

Going up for a moose hunt in October, wanted to finally try and target ducks and geese while up there for a few days if I tag out early.
Would be pass shooting and jump shooting.

Much action up there or is it off migration routes? New to waterfowlin.

Lots of good bird hunting in that area,,,,,the ducks and geese use almost half 3-12 as migration corridor on way south,,,,,,,kamloops,,then stump,,through to Nicola,,over Merritt,,,,,then push for the coast,,,,,just bring waders for sure,,,,very thick lays of bullrushes,,,,,,,,1 trick to try on the ponds is,,,,,,you sneak down at 1 end of pond,,,,,and have someone go to other end and make a huge amount of noise working their way towards you,,,,,birds will flush in your direction,,,,,,most shots will be made over dry land,,,,,,can be a rush,,,,I've actually have limited out on just 1 pond before,,,,,,,gotta reload pretty damn quick though,,,,,good luck to ya,,,,happy shootin
