6-2a burning

Have a shared moose leh for 6-2a but sounds like the whole area might be torched.
anyone have any info on this?

Give Nick at lake District Air a call he will know all the details. He flies in lots of fire crews and does aerial spotting.

If that is the case it can make for some high concentrations of moose in the non burned areas in the area. The one moose draw I had a few years back was in a zone that was burned over that summer. We found some good wetland area with adjacent timber that was not cooked in the fires and found a lot of moose. Hopefully you can do the same.
