got two questions about these critters.....whats the difference between fannin and dall sheep?......and where can I find info on population of (dall/fannin) around Bennett and atlin?
A fannin will have a tail that sorta resembles a fan. Not the Circular style but the old school hand held ones. "Fan-in"

Dall sheep are "pure" white but are allowed a certain number of off-white hairs. Used to be twelve, I believe, but the number changed a few years ago.
Fannin are thought to be the result of cross breeding between Stone and Dall sheep and are found where their ranges lap.

Moon lake leh sheep are primarily Fannins. You can have a ram shoulder mount all white but the rams tend to have black tails and markings on rest of body. Very pretty sheep.

Yes moon lake is leh....the west side of Bennett lake is not
If you want a dall you need to apply for tatshenshini leh. Anything else is not considered a dall in BC.
