Heading to Terrace next week for a few days on the Skeena, downstream of the CNR bridge, was wondering if anyone had any local reports.

Thanks,
Terry

Sockeye?

Fished Ferry Island last weekend, lots coming through by Sunday, limited out quickly that evening. Many, many more still coming.

Fishing is real good for sockeye. Lots of springs
being caught back trolling or plunking.

Scroll down to skeena. Usually lots of good up to date fishing reports from locals of the hole north coast

Just got back from Terrace on the 20th..We caught our 4 springs and 1 sockeye..The test fishery for springs is very low...but if you can find a spot you might get the late run as its coming in now...Sockeye is the dominant fish this year...The test fishery is way up..Go early to get a spot..I mean 0400 am or no later than 0430 am..Everyone is fishing all the bars..The early bird gets the FISH...If you are too far downstream from the riffle you better enjoy casting ....cause you won't catch much as far as sockeye fishing goes..Hope this helps..
