Would the Adams not be as busy as the vedder?

Adams will be longer than 1.5 hrs. Used to do it a decade ago.

West and main Kettles are your best bet. Upper Nicola can be okay but fish are smaller.
Also Shuswap but check the regs.

According to my mapping program, it would take you 2hr:16'29" for the 164 km trip via Salmon Arm.
According to the same mapping program, it would take you 1hr,59'16" for a 157 km trip via Falkland.
Both are calculated from the intersection of Harvey Ave and Richter St. right to the mouth of the Adams.
The times and speeds are calculated at a moderate rate. I am sure the times would be shorter. I frequently travel the Chase-Falkland road heading to Vernon or Kelowna and I know it cuts 20 minutes of going any other route.
