Hey guys,
I appologize in advance if this is the wrong thread to be posting under. I am hoping many eyes read this just so guys are aware if they see it!
I was down in Chilliwack, parked outside the Coast Hotel for a Sturgeon Stag trip and had my vehicle broken into between 7:45am and 7:00pm July 11, 2014. They did what looks to be a quick window smash and grabbed the closest thing which was my Mystery Ranch NICE 7500 pack. The pack did not have the daypack lid attached to it so it is just the NICE frame with the 7500 pack. In it was an assortment of gear ranging from brand new Bushnell range op trail cameras (8gb Lexar SD cards, duracel duralock and or Kirkland AA batteries), Sumo Jetboil, Katadyn Combi water filter, Cats meow sleeping bag, pro lite thermarest, Tripod, and much more. Not sure what my goal is other than if it shows up on a buy and sell site maybe someone sees something that sounds similar to this and I might be able to get my gear back?

Thanks for any info guys,
Ryan

Keep a close watch on Craigslist over the next few weeks. Very likely to end up there.

Good luck getting it back!

Daytime heist. Any merchant video surveillance in the area, even from quite a distance?

Sorry I feel for ya being violated, but you might as well have left a nice crisp $100 bill on the front seat.

Yes there was Ambush.
Sorry Noah, everything was covered. The only thing in sight was a pair of hiking boots and 100lbs of salt. In the middle of a 4 day journey. I have a crisp $100 bill for you if you need it.

I totally get it. Sometimes there's no choice but to leave stuff in the truck.
Sooooooooo... About that $100 you were offering????..........

For those of us in Chilliwack, watch for this backpack strapped to a crackhead on a bmx bike. The local police try and pull them over whenever possible. A friend of mine had her sons back pack full of homework and textbooks stolen and spotted it a few days later peddling down the street. She stopped and grabbed the guy in broad daylight and was able to flag down a cop. These scumbags work the streets all of the time and are everywhere. Please post a pic of the pack and we will all watch for it.

Good Luck!

I Will keep my eyes open.
Easy to spot, no crackhead would have that nice of a pack.
Theres a pawn shop in Sardis, and one beside Dart & tackle.
Good luck.

Don't pawn shops have to hold stuff for 3 months or something before they can sell it? I've doin some of my stuff in a couple shops before but it was always a while after it was stolen

Rough, I lost a sage fly rod, hardy reel, gopro, full 25L jerry and a custom hunting knife gifted to me the second day I moved to Van. None of which was in sight, except the jerry through the back cap window. F***ers jammed a screwdriver through the lock cylinder on my ranger.
Never saw it again, and my ON insurance didn't cover it. Sometimes you gotta roll with the punches and learn from your mistakes. Hope you get your gear back.
On the positive side I locked my keys in my truck yesterday in burnaby and used a screwdriver to get back in.. silver linings

Here are the only photos I have available at the moment. They didn't grab the day pack lid so it is missing the top two compartments. The water bladder is not visible now. Other than that that's the pack and there's a pic of what the trail cameras look like as well. I appreciate all the info and PM's.
Cheers,
Ryan

there's a pawn shop right across the street from where you were parked. Beside dart and tackle. If you haven'y already checked there, its a start.
