My Friend Kirby took me out fishing the other day after work, and blast me, if in 5 minutes of dropping a line to the bottom, I didn't catch a lovely eating fish.

He set me up with a mooching rod, and I was honestly shocked, maybe it was luck, but if this is any indication of the fishing in Canada, colour me impressed!
The Rock Cod was delicious, pancoed, panfried and served with buttered brown bread.
I'm currently trekking all around BC, every day I'm astonished at how gorgeous the country is. If anyone is on Vancouver Island and wants to meet up for a beer, drop me a PM, first round's on me.
