Wondering about the Merritt area

Was wondering if anyone had any insight to anything around the merritt area, coldwater, kane valley, murray lake FSR, maka creek FSR, or Tualmeen.

I'm one of many in the Pitt and Ladner, but am still very new to the province.

Not looking for honey holes, PM's are cool as well.

Many in the Pitt? All of those areas you mention have moose, bear and mule, drive the roads in any of that area, hike off the road a bit and you will see game

Try the paradise lake/island lake area...

Get off at Elkhart lake exit from 97c out of Merritt. There's a ton of fsr valleys and cutblock. Heavily hunted though

Are you looking for places to hunt Ducks and Geese, or just hunt anything? K

The waterfowl of course, ive got some decent big game places but wondering about waterfowl in these areas

If you meant you live in Ladner in your initial post, Ladner has lots of waterfowl and great waterfowl hunting.

Im in looking for waterfowl recommendations in the Merritt, kane valley, Murray lake area. Wondering iff there is anything happening out that way?

I regularly scout the lakes north of Merritt - I never see waterfowl in them at any time of the year: I think they are too high up in the hills...
Ducks unlimited has some wet lands around Logan Lake:
That being said Nicola Rach advertises they have great Duck Hunting in the Valley:
