x2 i think the only animal brows dont count on is a mule deer if im not mistaken

He's a juvenile bull.

Regardless, enjoy the fun you and your hunting buddies will get out of observing the process of his maturation.

I don't know about elk, but from what I've read whitetails have 90% of the antler growth by July 4th.... My neighbor used to have an elk farm (he's out of business now) and that seemed to hold true with his elk also....what you see by July 4th, is pretty much what you'll see in September. Whether that holds true in other areas, further north from here, etc....I don't know.

His brow length ain't bad for a young bull. Should be a 5x5 and maybe luck out with a small 6th kicker.
Hopefully he sticks around for ya to find out.
