Murphy lakes

Can any one tell me if there is a road that goes into upper Murphy Lake. The Sharp Hooks website shows camping and a boat launch at the south end of upper Murphy. Or is the trail between the two of them the only way. Thanks for the help.

IMHO . . . anything to do with "Murphy" I'd stay well clear of!!!

There is a road that goes around 200 yards from the shore, ive dragged a boat down that path and had a great day fishing. Lots of flies and mosquites though

I don't know anything about a road going to it or close to it, but I have walked that little path between the two lakes. Definitely some awesome fly-fishing in that lake though!!

I was once told that someone had built a cabin at or near the south end of the lake, and gated the road. But I have seen a few maps that show camping and a boat launch over there as well. Might just have to go for a drive.

BCFS Rec Site at the west end of the two lakes. Summer always busy on the weekends at the rec site. Few other places to camp nearby the rec site as well.
