pest cyotes in subdivition

We are having troubles in my neighborhood with three cyotes. City and animal control won't help. There are small kids on the street and the animals are not scared. I'm wondering where I can get info on how to eliminate them myself. I'm wondering about the legalities

Not sure about the legality but hamburger mixed with a ton of Tylenol will
do the trick.
