3-13 Moose

Ive decided to try an new area and was wondering how people have done in 3-13 for moose. I dont want to know where but just how many you've actually seen. I saw a crap load of cows last year in 3-12 but the odds were ridiculous for leh this year.

There's a reason the odds are much tougher in 3-12. Way more moose and better access. They are in 3-13 but you will be working for them.

The way I look at it, it's always better to have the tag or at least get a shot at having the tag and see less game rather than to never get the tag by putting into the high odd draws. I've seen a fair share of moose just across the highway behind coquihalla lake, we went once during the moose rut and saw 2 cows and 2 bulls, again these zones are literally right across the "street" from each other, hunting closer towards Merritt or Lyton might see more numbers of moose though.

I travel the coq often for work and have seen them from the highway on the west side which I believe is the region in question. If you are lucky enough to win the LEH I will tell you where I saw some last year, I do not put in for draws myself in that zone.

Guess my not shooting a cow/calf with no leh tags in 3-12 makes me a failure everywhere, fine by me. Guess ill just finish my deer chorizo on the bbq. Thanks for the info..... now for little luck and get a draw.

Settle down girls whoa, redneck's just jokin. Getting close to the leh draw people are spun tight right now. Take a deep slow breath thru the nose and let it out slowly, then repeat.
People are intense over the leh draw date.

I would think the northern area around lytton and the eastern section by merrit would hold good numbers of moose, it was one of my final choices last year between 3-13 and 3-17 I chose 3-19 where I got my draw and bull
