Some of the Hope Locals have been saying they have sighted bears on the Skagit.
Son has found signs near Princeton on the Similkameen River Road.
I might be at the Tulameen Dacha next week ( was going this week but gardening got in the way :icon_frow ) and I'll keep any eye and ear out there and let you know if I hear anything.

I have driven the Coldwater last spring/fall I found scat on that straight stretch under the powerlines which is 5min before the campsite. After the campsite it was super thick so I turned around after about 10 min. I do not know if it opens up after that. I did not like that area in particular so I headed for Tulameen on that FSR next to old toll booths and saw nothing but other hunters, wood cutters and old bear crap.

Saw a small bear up Skagit area on Sunday and have seen bear up the Coldwater FSR last fall.
