First bear down!

Got my first black bear last night. Cinnamon boar over 200 lbs. been after him for a week and I shot him at about 20 yards. I was walking the road I've seen him on and he was at the end walking towards me with no idea I was there. He was facing me so I waited for him to turn and give me a broadside but he just kept walking my way. Finally he was getting close so I figured I had to do something so I let out my best deer bleat he stopped but didn't turn. He kept walking so I did it again This time he turned and gave me a good shot at his shoulder at twenty yards I knew I could make that. So I hit him hard high shoulder and he was down!

You got him with a firearm or bow....20 yards away thats getting close

.308 yah he was just walking right to me if he hadn't turned I was gonna have to scare him off cause that was very close

Beautiful looking bear you got to love those color phase bears. I know I would have shot him too, congrats.
