has anyone used the guide gear 14 foot tipi? I just purchased one, but haven't used it. I'm hoping it's as good as the other guide gear stuff I have.

I think your talking about the teepee tent. I had to google what you were talking about. I havent seen them before, Im curious to hear the response you get. Looks interesting. Did you get a stove with yours?
I got one 3-4 years ago. Exactly the 14 feet diameter one.
I like it, it's nice for a single guy hunting alone a time. You can set up camp in a few minute where to keep dry and warm (understand a hour with lines, stove, chimney, etc...).
I got my stove from Four dogs (Minnesota???). Actually, for the size of tent I got the Three Dogs model. That was enough in September and October. Got to try it in November now.
It's a good set up for a crew of two, maybe three. More than that, it gets to small and too tight. I cook in it, you need some room for that. Moisture build up may be a problem and you need to heat the stove all night to keep it dry or keep the vents open should the weather allow it. Despite my best efforts, I haven't managed to keep the stove alive and warm all night long yet... either you get up in the middle of the night or wake up in a cold camp. It warms up fast anyway. No big deal!
In one word, I'm happy with mine. It sees too little action unfortunately.
Don't hesitate to PM me your coordinates if you'd prefer to talk. As most guys on this site, I'll be happy to help as much as I can.
