Bear Hunting

Hey Forum,

I just got my bear tag (live in Region 8 ) with the hope my buddy would by one but he is not going to buy this year. Instead of wasting money on the ticket and not going out is there anybody who is going out bear hunting in this region?

I am new to the bear hunting season and would like to go with someone that has the experience to show me what to look for etc....

troll logging roads at 15 km/hr and when you see an open logging slash/open green spot drive a little past it and get out of your truck and walk back to it and look for poop, no poop? jump back in truck and keep driving. In my experience one second there is nothing there, you look away and look back and hey a bear.
