Unfortunately this bear is safe where it is hanging out. All private land around, and friends that enjoy watching nature. It does look nice though. Since I am hunting for pepperoni meat, the size of the bear doesn't really mean anything to me, as long as it isn't a cub, I will take it.

This bears hide brings up a question . Whats the best way to deal with a nice bear hide like this one if you are not intrested in it?

Either freeze it or get it salted good. Then find someone that wants it, a bear of that size and color won't be hard to find a home for. Personally I'd say your nuts to give it away.

Hell ya,nothing less than a 458 or a 500 Nitro express.Makes the Taxi happy sewing those basketball sized holes up.
Killed all mine(26 blacks,2 grizz) with a .270. 30.06-180 grn......piece of cake.
