Mulies Galore on Kootenay Lake

Saw a stack of mules on the North and West Side of Kootenay lake this spring. More than I have seen in the last ten years.

seen a herd of 40+ mulies by williams lake the other week on the side of the highway, but green hayfields surrounded by a sea of brown can have that affect.

I was just out in the west koots, and in a couple areas there were tons of mule deer at least 100 I am sure more even saw a couple bucks that were starting to show bone, but the other areas it was all elk and whitetails, and no I wont give you landmarks or road names

Drove Vancouver to Tatla Lake and back Easter weekend. Must have seen 200 deer.

Apparently they migrate somewhere else come September!
