Shout out to Cabela's TAGS

Just drew an Arizona area 27 late season rifle elk tag. This is the second tag that they have got for me in 4 years. 2012 was a Montana bighorn. Anyway it's in the mountains on the New Mexico border and several 380 class bulls are killed there each year and I'd be thrilled to get a crack at a big one. Will keep you posted.

I don't know Dave but non res's odds are reduced 50% so it pays to start building points. I think I was 7 points in on that hunt. Statisticly I should start winning more frequently now
in the other states too. I'm guessing 50 to one.

I have had a dozen solicitations in the mail from outfitters who can get you in and out of the area in Arizona and provide guide service. A couple sent along a DVD of the bulls they've assisted with over the years. Now, I'm really getting stoked as there a lots of big ones hitting the ground every year.

But, I bought a Utah landowner ranch tag for a 360" class area and saw a total of one bull the whole trip so... Until I see them in the crosshairs...
