This year started about a week late. Lots of excuses, but I finally made it into the water today. My new kayak, the S.S. Death Banana, was supposed to get wet for the first time this year, but I went full ****** and left my paddle at home. Derp. Luckily I always have a plan B, and hit a favorite shore dive with impressive results. Water was cold and visibility was </= 1 meter. Had to come in early as my stringer was full.

Baker's Dozen.

What do you do with them?

There are a few eastern Europeans that I know that take some. Some go in the garden, some end up in crab traps, this weekend we'll try some as bait for sturgeon. As they're an invasive species, the more you can wack, the better. Not to be confused with our native suckers.

I'd be lying to you if I said I didn't leave some for the birds when I shoot them while bow fishing.
