Finally. I look forward to this shoot every year. It really kicks off my fall elk hunt preparation....

Not to mention I look forward to the relaxation this shoot offers. We're going to have a bigger crew this year. My apologies to those camping around us. Great to see young people in their 20's and 30's coming back to the shoot.

Thanks Rod and Jim. You guys do a great job.

Heading to Rock Creek a bit early next week to spend extra time setting up the course in the appropriate manner. Look forward to increasing the challenge as it gives me great personal satisfaction to make sure every one enjoys the course! Hope all have had their practice, going to need it!

Hey Rod

I have a Selway QR Longbow Quiver (6 Arrow) from VantagePoint Outfitters as a door prize for you. Value $90. Can you or anyone going to the shoot pick it up? I can't make the shoot as I plan to be on a grizz hunt.

This target was difficult for many as moveing from close in woods and obstructions to a distance deceiving , slightly down hill and slightly quartering away ....

We got sucked in with steep "short" good angle shot on Day one . Day two and three were same steep down hill angle but with angle and distance increases . Notice the scoring rings were adjusted to suit the various angles of arrow launch .
Jim and Jeff took particular glee with their challenge facing the archers!!!!!!!

OK done and hope this gives beginners some idea of the joys of 3-D ing .
Cheers
