Thanks Frenchbar

Im waiting on a response from the Ranch on access and cost.

I usually don't pay to fish, but if this little gem produces and fishes well, I'll pay to play once.

Just looked on the website. Packages - though not sure what constitutes a "package" - start at $99. Camping for two $60 a night.

You know, it's funny. You look up the hill and you'd never think there's a lake up there that size.

I fished it back in the day a lot myself. Sure miss going in there. We would day trip there from Whistler. Made for a long day.
I got hooked on chronie fishing there. Hooked 25 in a row one after the other on a black snowcone one day. Always heard "An 11 pounder was caught last week". Heard that every time I went there, for years. As said above it can be tough fishing like any other trout water.

It is very well known for its dirt biking but I've never been. I'd love to take the camper and do a combined bike/fish trip. If you go, please report back.

They are 2 different lakes you speak of. Rudducks is private while onion just down the rd is surrounded by cabins. But I believe you can still access on the creek outflow side of the lake. Eastside. Both are good fishing.
