– Vi har ikke hatt så store problemer med elgen tidligere, men i år har det vært to stykker som har vært innom et par ganger. Og da jeg skulle ut og fly med dronen, oppdaget jeg elgen som sto og spiste av høyballene, sier Roald Hansen.
Han bor i Laksjok i Tana kommune i Finnmark, hvor han driver melkeproduksjon.
Da elgen ble obs på dronen prøvde den å stikke av, men det var ikke like enkelt da den var omringet av høyballer.

– Dronen bråker en del når den kommer flyvende, og den fungerte jo fint for å få bort elgen. Jeg vil nok bruke den igjen hvis elgen kommer på nytt, sier Hansen.
Luftfartstilsynet har mottatt flere videoer av droner som flyr etter dyr som har skapt reaksjoner. De har sett på videoen til Hansen, og mener flygingen som vises der ikke bryter med retningslinjene for dronebruk.

- We have not had major problems with the moose before, but this year there have been two pieces that have visited a few times. And when I went out to fly the drone, I discovered the elk stood and ate of highballs, says Roald Hansen.
He lives in Laksjok Tana in Finnmark, where he engaged in dairy farming.

- The drone noisy part when it comes flying and it worked great, of course to get rid of the moose. I will probably use it again if the moose come again, says Hansen.
The CAA has received several videos of drones flying by animals that have created reactions.They have seen the video for Hansen, and believes the flight shown where not violate our drone use.
They stress, however, that it is not lucky to fly for animals, especially for extended periods. CAA is also working currently with a set of rules for the use of drones.

- When I saw the moose ran away I turned away. The way I see it is the same as if I come running with a quad bike, says Hansen.

All forms of hunting of animals is negative, especially when we are in a particularly important time for the animals when they mate and have children.

LIVE KLEVELAND, ANIMAL WELFARE ALLIANCE

Live Kleveland, spokesperson for Animal Protection Alliance, says that the drones around animals is a new issue for them.
- We know that this is a big problem. But all forms of hunting of animals is negative, especially when we are in a particularly important time for the animals when they mate and have children. To chase animals drains them of needed energy, says Kleveland.
Roald Hansen stressed that he would use the drone to fly by animals.
- The moose will probably leave them in peace if it only graze in the fields, he said.
